I'm BACK! David's BACK! YOYOYO! =)) It's 2009... A brand "牛" year... It's been so long, really fxxxing long that i didn't update my blog. Reasons??? Lazy? Life's dull? Busy? Tired? I don't really know. In fact, i really don't wanna know. Past is past. Let it GO. I always tend to forget things very soon (except those memorable events), which is a good thing for me.

SO... 2009! Would this be a great year for me? I just wanted to say YES! Hope everyday would be challenging for me, because, this will be more fulfilling for me, but not TOO challenging, not until i have to strength to face it... =))

The last night of holiday in Ipoh...

3 weeks of short holiday is gonna end in a blink of an eye...time flies!!
now i gotta prepare myself for the future challenge...
results for previous semester...arghh..not too bad, i kinda satisfy what i've achieved.
thanks to my laziness, but i'm still able to maintain the overall grade point average. thank God!
this holiday is quite dull...spent the holiday with some good dreams as well as some bad dreams..
and with a simple trip to cameron highlands and KL..went to Pavilion, the new shopping complex at KL's prime location..it was awesome..full of luxury outlets.
been thinking quite a lot this holiday...about all kind of stuffs...
guess i'm still not the kind of person i wished i could be yet...
i gotta open n loosen up myself to accept n experience more of life that i've been missing all the while...
be happy is one of the objective i wanna achieve in life...
never gonna let myself stop learning n getting more knowledge...
never gonna underestimate my own abilities too...

Since i don't have mood to study, me n en xun decided to take a brisk walk around MMU...That time was 1 or 2am if i'm not mistaken...Just a simple walk took us around 1 hour....MMU's new buildings looked so different from the old buildings, different design n structure...New buildings seemed so modernized...I heard that as reported in the news, local universities should learn from MMU, because MMU saved a lot $$ in building the buildings compared to local universites.

Does God answer the prayers of unbelievers?

God is sovereign and can choose to answer any prayer He sees fit. But Scripture clearly indicates that God does not listen to or answer every prayer. In fact, Scripture gives at least fifteen reasons for unanswered prayer. God does not answer the prayer of those:

Who have personal and selfish motives.

You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures (James 4:3).

Who regard iniquity in their hearts.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear (Psalm 66:18).

Who remain in sin.

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear (Isaiah 59:2).

Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him (John 9:31).

Who offer unworthy service to God.

"You are presenting defiled food upon My altar. But you say, 'How have we defiled You?' In that you say, 'The table of the LORD is to be despised.' But when you present the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And when you present the lame and sick, is it not evil? Why not offer it to your governor? Would he be pleased with you? Or would he receive you kindly?" says the LORD of hosts. "But now will you not entreat God's favor, that He may be gracious to us? With such an offering on your part, will He receive any of you kindly?" says the LORD of hosts.

Who forsake God.

Thus says the Lord to this people: "Thus they have loved to wander; They have not restrained their feet. Therefore the Lord does not accept them; He will remember their iniquity now, And punish their sins." Then the Lord said to me, "Do not pray for this people, for their good. When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence (Jeremiah 14:10-12).

Who reject God's call.

Because I [Wisdom] have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke.... Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me (Proverbs 1:24-25, 28).

Who will not heed God's law.

One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination (Proverbs 28:9).

"But they refused to heed, shrugged their shoulders, and stopped their ears so that they could not hear. Yes, they made their hearts like flint, refusing to hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Thus great wrath came from the Lord of hosts. Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen," says the Lord of hosts. (Zechariah 7:11-13).

Who turn a deaf ear to the cry of the poor.

Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, Will also cry himself and not be heard. (Proverbs 21:13).

Who are violent.

When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood (Isaiah 1:15; see also 59:2-3).

Who worship idols.

Therefore thus says the Lord: "Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them. Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry out to the gods to whom they offer incense, but they will not save them at all in the time of their trouble. For according to the number of your cities were your gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem you have set up altars to that shameful thing, altars to burn incense to Baal. So do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry out to Me because of their trouble." (Jeremiah 11:11-14; see also Ezekiel 8:15-18).

Who have no faith.

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord (James 1:6-7).

Who are living in hypocrisy.

Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy (Luke 12:1).

Who are proud of heart.

God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6; 1 Peter 5:5).

Who are self-righteous.

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, "God, I thank You that I am not like other men-extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess." And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, "God, be merciful to me a sinner!" I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted (Luke 18:11-14).

Who mistreat God's people.

You have also given me the necks of my enemies, So that I destroyed those who hated me. They cried out, but there was none to save; Even to the Lord, but He did not answer them (Psalm 18:40-41).

You who hate good and love evil; Who strip the skin from My people, And the flesh from their bones; Who also eat the flesh of My people, Flay their skin from them, Break their bones, And chop them in pieces, Like meat for the pot, Like flesh in the caldron. Then they will cry to the Lord, But He will not hear them; He will even hide His face from them at that time, Because they have been evil in their deeds (Micah 3:2-4).

So, does God answer the prayers of unbelievers? A strict yes or no answer is difficult without qualifying the answer in various ways. However, it is noteworthy that the above mentioned principles represent some of the key characteristics of an unbeliever. Thus we can safely say that, in general, God does not answer the prayers of an unbeliever.

It's Thursday...

I've back to Ipoh for a week already by now. It's CHINESE NEW YEAR!! Though every year is the same, but every year it's different for me, and i'm sure for anyone else too. Feelings were mixed. Environment were noisy and quiet. My car's brake is starting to make a lot of unknown notes of music. My house is decorated in lights of red and yellow/orange. I saw my brother and sister-in-law and saw the toyota VIOS with shinning tires. Red colored packets were everywhere. Traffic jams were everywhere too. The list of scenes floating on my mind will just go on and on...

I saw many faces this new year. But out of those that i have not seen long time, i think they mostly gain WEIGHT except one or two loss weight. Not bad...I was still able to recognize all types of faces. My memory is working good. :) This CNY is a simple one. I just visited a few friend's house. But then my angpao money is still as MUCH as the previous year.

Finally, there's someone else gave compliment to my hair. But there's someone thought that i've permed my hair. The fact is that i didn't perm my hair yet. I think i'm still not ready to be surprised what my hair will look like if i perm it. I actually had a hair cut in the evening the day before CNY. I did it at Philippe Sum and a guy named Issac in charge of my HAIR. I guessed his mouth is made of candy. I've been interested in having the hair style of Zhang Dong Liang all the time, so i requested him to trim my hair to be like Zhang Dong Liang. He replied me and say :"Everyone has own his own style. Zhang Dong Liang 100% imitated Korean style. But you're different. You have your own style. Your own style is even better than Zhang Dong Liang!!" Wow...this guy, really knows how to comfort you by his words. I paid RM35 not only for the cut, but oso for my listening pleasure. Haha...However, all the time he was just using razor to get my hair done in shape, not using scissor at all. Still can't figure out what's the difference and whether it's good or bad for the hair. So, i'm just gonna keep my hair now for further decision. :)

Yesterday night i went to Rum Jungle in Sunway City, Ipoh. Wow...the place is awesome~!! I never thought that there's something like this in Ipoh until yesterday night. The place is very well decorated and designed. Woody feel. There's lot of cars even during mid nights...I think there's a lot of night stalkers out there. I got a free drink there. Then me n my friends just had a walk around the whole place. Less than an hour, we went out cuz someone else gotta back to her home.

I had a talk with my mom just now. We exchanged some information. I told her something that i've downloaded from the internet. It's actually some music track that you can listen throughout the night that will calm you down and make your sleep more sound n deep. That way, you can have quality sleep all night long. But in turn, she told me to find a gf soon! I was shocked. She told me that now it's the perfect time to get one, if not it's too late...Haha...I was like...I dunno how to reply her. But anyway, i hope to get a gf too. But it's not an easy task, as least for me. No money....sob sob...It's not easy for me to fall in love. Once i fell in love, but if i couldn't make it (i mean get together with the girl), i will give up really easily...If i can make it, then i'll treat the girl with whole of my heart. I guess this is me... Don't ask me whether i got TARGET or not, cuz this is too sensitive and i won't answer it... ;p

This is a PIG year doesn't mean that everyone will behave like PIGS... Instead, i hope everyone will work as HARD as possible to achieve what u've always wanted and make your dreams come true!! Be committed, positive and stay focused!! ;) Happy Chinese New Pig Year!!

Valentine's

Finally it's valentine's. But it's nothing other day a normal day in my life. Time just goes by as usual. But today is my day as a taxi driver...i went to pudu purposely to fetch Jason n bring him to IMU there to meet her gf as he din drive down his car. It's how single life lives...watching how couples live...

I guessed i'm driving my car circulating in KL for more than 4 hours today...Traffic jams everywhere...Time wasted...i guess there's so much going on out there, even beside the road there's stalls selling roses.

This year's valentine's ended by just having dinner with a bunch of friends... Hope next year wilhave a different valentine's...cuz never been celebrating this day with a lover :(

Sleepy n tired...zzzz...guesse it's time to enter la-la land... Good nite~!

It's been a while i have not posted anything in my blog. I've been quite lazy lately, but i do study the books. It's the opposite of what i did compare to previous trimesters. Normally i'm still playing at every beginning of a new trimester. Nothing special happened lately...It's dull...Especially have to accept the truth that tomorrow is Valentine's day and me?? I'm gonna be alone... :(

I've eaten 2 loafs of bread in 2 days, averaged 1 per day...Scary?? hehe... It's not plain bread, but with something in it like raisins and apricots. Couldn't stop eating it as snack whenever i was free. Guess i'm gonna gain weight soon...hehe...

So what should i do tomorrow??? Anyone who view my blog pls give some comment... Better still invite me out for some programs (only those who are still single or gf/bf not around)...

Just got back from gym at Clearwater sanctuary with Jason. Ohh no...gotta shake my head this time cuz my weight...I'm on low weight man and i shouldn't be having less weight than Jason. He's been less weight than i do all the years...Oh God, help me this time, let me gain weight!!! I wanna gain weight!! I wanna eat, eat n eat... Recently this few months, i found my stomach size is smaller d...can't take much food like i did last time. I cannot let this situation continue!! must eat more!!

I'm astounded as i met teacher Henry Soon in Clearwater though he didn't really recognize me. But he's still the same. Meeting him let me recall back those days during his English class in school where i had not pay any attention to any of his class...haha...his English class is the most suitable time to ZZZZ... So sui lah me...

Also someone said my nature curled hair nice...Looks like "guai zai"...But he's uncle. I found out that usually auntie or uncle only will compliment about my hair... Keeping long hair is really a tough job when my hair grow really SLOW... Thinking of perming my hair when the length is ready, but i'm afraid it won't suit me...Worrying... but anyway, a new year, must try something new!!

When doing presentations or even just a small talk, always look into people's eyes. Let them feel that u're genuine. Attire and materials can be easily done, but knowledge is not. We have to continuously update our knowledge by various method, e.g. visit office more often, converse with leaders, read books, listen to CDs...

Just got back home from yum cha with MMU friends, really an enjoyable 1. B4 that, i tried some pasta made by a PRO friend, really a nice one, keep it up! On the way back, haiz... my RM10 red paper flew away for no reasons. What a silly mistake i made... How careless i am... I forgot to put my seat belts on, n the police spotted me. OMG... really wasted money for nothing, just like throwing it into the salt sea. Should i comfort myself that this is a lesson that i should learn? whatever.. what done is done.

Quite some time didn't update my blog... As last week i was in KL the whole week. Only back here on sunday midnight. Though spent lots of cash, but i felt that i've learned something, something that has motivated me and some sort of agreements i made with my partners. I'm gonna achieve it and i'm glad that my partners were determined to our agreement. (agreement = 5 PS, only for those who understand what is PS.. hehe) Beside that, every wednesday i'll go to office at Times Square...I guess it would be a tough time for me start from next semester. I need to work 3 times more harder. must learn to say NO to DOTA. no more gaming!!

All of my friends in MMU who are studying engineering courses perform so well in semester 2, and i'm glad that they achieve such success. Not to mention me, cuz i'm not one of them. I did badly this time, even worse than last semester. What a sad sad situation... However, i'm still on the positive track, i believe this coming semester i'll do a lot more better than this. I'll have to start training my unconscious mind so that i'll think all the positive things...Gotta repeating to myself that i'll do a lot more better, study harder and no more lame excuses for doing things that can improve myself.

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.

For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed
in the machine.

The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.

Holidaying...

Just back from yum cha and da gei with friends...First time play Dota in this holiday and i guess i don't have that kind of addiction which i used to have when i bored. I used to think of Dota when i'm feeling bored. Now when i think of Dota, i feel bored. Is it good or bad? Hehe...It's good for sure. God knows.

My fondness towards Ipoh grew immensely this time...Couldn't explain why. I could feel more of Ipoh, the beauty and calmness of the city, my hometown. It's peaceful and lovely at night. It's a small town but it has got everything that I need. There's a new 24-hr drive-thru McD near Medan Gopeng. That's the first thing i spot when i came back this time for holiday. Besides, walking down the street in Old Town and other places aroused my mind and made me recall back nostalgia at the same place but different time dimension.

For the first day of holiday, i spent it in 1U and The Curve. After lepaking there, I drove back my car with my friends. There's a car which is the same as mine, but it's solid red. This car appeared along the way back to Ipoh. We overtake each other uncountable times in the highway. What a coincidence that i even saw that car in the resting area when i wanted to go to the rest room. And what a coincidence that we leave the resting area together. On the way back, she (a girl driver, but there's a guy sitting in the back) purposely overtake me and slow down her car and let me overtake! And so, my friends asked me to overtake her, so i did. This process repeated again and again and finally, which is the CRITICAL MOMENT, that is the last time i overtake her, and at the moment i overtake her, she's curi-curi LAUGHING like hell with one hand closing her mouth!! OMG...Is that really FUN?

For the 2nd and 3rd day of my holiday, spent whole day with friends which included ah woon (Kelantan guy) and yik ming (KL guy). We brought them to visit around Ipoh. They tried Sun Yuen Loong's famous white coffee, shopping in Jusco, sing K in eBox, gazing hot girls in ER, ingest Nga Choy Kai in Onn Kee & Lou Wong, wet themselves in the waterfall of Silibin, ate famous chicken rice in White Castle, taste the take-away Dao Fu Fah, tried Mun Tong Hao's Ngao Lam Fun and etc.

Finally!! No more exams!! In the end, the exam week is over. I'm so so so relieved now! I'll be back to Ipoh tomorrow. At first my friends have to wait me to go back to Ipoh, but due to some problem, I'm the one who wait them now... Anyway, I'm FREE now...wondering what can i do~~

I'm touched by the Lord...It's true and prayers really works! I wish for a sound night sleep, that's without the disturbance of the wild mosquitoes, and yes, yesterday night was perfect and peaceful without the presence of the mosquitoes. Great! Thank God for listening to me...Though this is just a small matter, but i know God really pay attention to everyone of us. God's always waiting for us to ASK for help, because He loved the way we depend on Him...

I wanna thank for my roomie who wake up me this morning at 8.45am. I set my alarm at 8am but i mis-pressed the STOP button which i should press SNOOZE. The exam is at 9am and i immediately rush to the exam hall, and fortunately i was not late. Really thanks a lot... :)

So how shall i spend my time for the rest of the day?? Any idea?? i oso dunno lerr...hehehe...Again, best luck for those who will have exam tomorrow!! God with you.

So many bad nites...

It's been a week where i've been repeatedly waking up in the middle of the night...Guess what? Am i having insomnia or what? Is it that i couldn't sleep?? Nonononono... It's all because of MOSQUITOES!!! Damn it!! I've been using the electric racquet for these few days...After i've done killing spree with the mosquitoes, which i killed really a lot, but there's still dozen of them hiding. The moment the lights were off, they became alive!! Help me please...This problem happened not only in my room, but in other rooms in HB1 2nd floor as well...The smoke/gas that MMU workers sprayed to eliminate mosquitoes is really a bad job. One word to describe its result, USELESS!

God, can you tell me why you create this insect? This insect don't do any good to us. They made my nights so miserable and my days without liveliness. God, please let me sleep soundly tonight as tomorrow is my last exam day and i wanna do well in it. God, please chase away all the mosquitoes that wanted to bite me...

Just finished 2 exams and i have one more to go...which is on this Sunday morning. But anyway, i feel soooooo relaxed now!!! cuz the 2 exams today really made me confusing...this 2 subjects can't really can be studied... and if i force myself to study, eventually it's blank in my mind too. The subjects are moral & ethics and managerial communication. So......THAT'S WHY!!

I believe that miracles really do happen...i get some tips on exam at the last minute and it really came out in the exam!! wow...the moment i saw the question, so HAPPY!! at least it lessen my worries for the rest of the paper...

During the exam, which i'll usually do, that is to look around to free my mind for a moment...n this thought which i previously had, float up again in my mind. For this new year of 2007, I will pray more and criticize less...I will also serve others more...

Holidays are coming soon...each of us anticipated it a lot...But exams are not finished, it continues. I wish all my friends are having exam now GOOD LUCK and ALL THE BEST and GOD BLESS YOU!! and for my another friend who's very SMART, i hope her health condition will improve immensely this year and for this week, she'll remember to take her med everyday.

I struggled very hard to sleep at 3am last nite but i couldn't help as my thoughts are running n running n running making me awake at somewhere between 6am n 7am. So i decided to write something out here as one of thought is New Year's resolution. yea...that's rite! This is a brand new year 2007, i have a lot of commitments to make...n the list goes on...

I will live my life happily n put more smile on my face =)
I will think positively n only attract good things into my life
I will unwrap my SHAPE, Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experience
I will achieve success in Synergy business
I will make more new friends and good friends and better friends and best friends and on and on
I will have a vacation to Japan end of this year
I will appreciate my mom and dad
I will have LOVE, but this depends, no forcing :)
I will be more health conscious
I will manage my time well, able to distribute my time for friends, study and work.

This is what i could think of so far. I changed the verb "wanna" to "will" in the list because i think the verb "will" imply a stronger conviction than merely "wanna". I want a word that makes me feel more determined and i feel this is the right word. If you have any comment, feel free to let me know.

As of Jan 1 2007, the toll price increases up to 60%. This means that i will have to pay more, and unfortunately, from Cyberjaya to anywhere else, I gotta pay toll, except Kajang i guess. Don't take this as a bad news! This is a force to motivate you to work harder! Living expenses is rising tremendously (inflation rate is 1.90% in 2003, 1.10% in 2004, 3.00% in 2005, 3.2% in 2006 in M'sia and it's rising) but fresh graduate's income seems like a constant used in mathematics equation. We need to be aware of this and be financially wise when dealing with money. However, money is not everything. Don't be too stubborn with money matters. It'll only kill you...

Then u have to ask me about it... Don't think nice food easy to find! Eating sometimes could make u scratch ur whole head until all hair drops but u still couldn't catch an idea!!

Alone in the room...

I was alone in the room in the hostel for a few days now. How annoyed that i purposely came back with the thought in my mind that I'm back merely to do the presentation, but canceled at the last minute. Actually i was quite happy too cuz we don't have to worry for what we're going to present. What a relieve!! hehe...So the lecturer just ask to send him the presentation slides n that's it... :) But my fren who loves to present (just a joke said by others) juz lost the opportunity to present.. haha..

Alone in the room may indicate loneliness, n yes that's rite, but there's something behind that too, u'll have a lot of privacy n freedom too! haha... That's not my real meaning, in fact, everyone needs time to be alone. That's not what i say, it's the saying from some experts. hehe.. Yea, by alone, we have wider thinking capacity sometimes, means that u'll have some thoughts that u don't usually have when u're with others. I discovered this just now after waking up not long ago, actually i've already discovered it long time ago lah...haha...

Today, i read a book which was given by a friend n which i have not touch it for a long time due to many lame reasons. I should have read this book "the purpose driven life" everyday for 40-days, because there's 40 chapters total n i'm supposed to read one chapter everyday only as mentioned by the author. I found some interesting n meaningful phrases in the book that i would like to share it.

"Since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ's body, let's just go ahead and be what we were made to be." Romans 12:5

What you are is God's gift to you; What you do with yourself is your gift to God.

And so... Now thinking about how am i gonna do on 31st December's night. Guan Yao said he's coming to find me tomorrow. I guess he's gonna stay at hostel... But now still dun have any program on that night. so how?? Countdown in hostel?? oh no... That's not gonna happen... I dun wanna play BANANA that nite...

The Secret

Today i woke up at 7 something in the morning after promising to my "kai sister" yesterday night that i'll have breakfast with her this morning. But the problem is she had to leave at 7.45am to bus station to get her ride to KLIA to return to the otherside of Malaysia, Sabah. I'm so sorry because i'm a pro sleeper. I should wake up at 6am.

So after being late for the breakfast, I saw this DVD - The Secret, which i borrow from Kelvin yesterday. I go through the whole video and what really astound me is that this video convinced me everything starts from a thought. A good thought will bring positive results and vice versa. But the fact is human beings like us tend to feel more negative things than positive ones. We have fear, anger, anxiety, low self-esteem and so many more emotions that lead us to poor and bad condition which we don't want. According to The Secret, whenever we feel bad about something, try hard to ignore the bad thought, the bad feeling, instead turn to things that we want and love, and focus on that and nothing else. It's called the Law of Attraction. Our thoughts will attract the things that we have in our mind. For instance, if you're afraid of getting a summon when you forget to pay for parking, most probably you'll get the summon. Maybe it's coincidence somehow, but it's not.

The video teach us to visualise the things that we want or achieve even if it's not there, and continue to think about it over and over again, like we're having it now, and it's just a matter of time, and guess what, the thing that we want so badly will appear in front of you. It's like you're the aladdin and you have the lamp. You summoned the genie and he'll always say "your wish is my command". The universe works that way. The universe forces will rearrange itself to achieve what you've been thinking about poooofff, it comes.

So from today onwards, i wanna try to ultilise the things that i've learnt in The Secret and apply it to my life. I wanna be positive, always and try to attract things that i want into my life.
